What is microneedling?

Fine needles create controlled punctures in the skin to stimulate a healing response and collagen production. Treatment may improve the appearance of uneven texture, fine lines and some acne scars. Results develop over time and vary between individuals.

Your appointment with Aimee

Talk through your concerns, skin history and current routine before deciding on treatment. Aimee will discuss the proposed technique, preparation, risks, expected recovery and aftercare, together with any recommended course and costs.

Recovery and risks

Redness, sensitivity and swelling can occur after treatment. Infection, scarring and pigment changes are possible risks. Follow your individual aftercare instructions and contact the clinic if you have concerns.

Read the American Academy of Dermatology’s microneedling information for general background. This does not describe a specific device or replace your own assessment.
